Liverpool's dent in City's march

Reduced to 10 men when the Italian was dismissed for two cautions, Manchester City were grateful to their outstanding keeper, Joe Hart, for slamming the door on Liverpool's attackers in the closing stages.
Assisted by Martin Atkinson’s willingness to play advantage, this was a fast-moving game of growing grandeur, a reminder of the resilience of Roberto Mancini’s title-chasers and Liverpool’s undeniable blossoming under Kenny Dalglish. City are five points clear, having survived a potential ambush. Liverpool are sixth, having again proven to everyone they live with the best.
Mindful of City’s central power, Dalglish opted to flood midfield, using Dirk Kuyt and Stewart Downing wide with the outstanding Lucas holding, squeezing the space around David Silva, while Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson pushed on towards Luis Suárez.

Has Liverpool dented City's triumphant and seemingly unstoppable march to the Champions title in the Premier League? The draw between Manchester City and Liverpool has surely brought City back to earth! Read my blog entry here: http://kazi59.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/liverpool-did-it/

Increased Russian presence in Syria

While the crisis in Syria for many weeks continues, Russia is preparing to send in December a group of warships in the Mediterranean, while pursuing the deployment of equipment on site.
Many news agencies have taken over on November 21 information issued by the Syrian media that three Russian ships reportedly entered Syrian waters and dropped anchor near the port of Tartus, where the Russian Navy has a development of logistics support. The Al-Arabiya, relaying this information, based on a source close to the Syrian government. This would be for Moscow, through the sending of this detachment, to show its opposition to any Western military intervention in Syria.
What the Russian Navy ships did she sent to the region? According to Russian news channel Kanal Perviï which broadcast a report on Russian facilities in Tartus on 22 November (see below), the guided missile cruiser Moskva (Project 1164 Atlant, Slava class) would have already left the port of Sevastopol (Crimea) to win in the Black Sea area. Yesterday, a source within the Navy also stated that the large ASW ship Smetliviy (Project 61 Kashin class, attached to the Black Sea Fleet) had done a stopover in Tartous, but it was to date already left. The same source also confirmed that the sole Russian aircraft carrier, Admiral Kuznetsov (Project 11435) and the large ASW ship Admiral Chabanenko (Project 1155.1 Fregat-M) was present route to the Mediterranean. This battle group should be fine to go to Tartus in the month of December.
According to the Arabic daily Al Quds Al Arabi, which is published in London, Russian experts that would include the Smeltivy found on board, would have helped the Syrians to deploy and operationalize the batteries of surface to air missiles S-300.
Russia has also indicated its continued supply of arms to Syria where the value of contracts is for the beginning of 2011 to $ 3.5 billion. Among the most important material being delivered is the delivery of 36 systems, surface to air missiles Pantsir-1S, the modrnisation across the park T-72 tanks and modernization of MiG-29. According to RIA Novosti, Russia intends to honor a contract for the delivery of MiG-29/M2 and eight batteries of surface to air missiles Buk-M2E.

The integration of the occupied Saharawi territories Moroccan parliamentary elections "has no legal basis" (Ould Salek)
Sat, 26/11/2011 - 11:05 Tags: Western Sahara
Algiers, 26 November 2011 (SPS) Saharawi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek said Thursday that the integration of the Saharawi territories in other parts of Morocco in the framework of Moroccan law "has no legal basis ".
Guest on the program "Dayf Eddah" Radio Algeria International, Mr. Ould Salek said that "any political or socio-economic areas Saharawi occupied by Morocco has no legal basis" recalling that the Saharawi president had sent a message to the United Nations "asking them to fully assume their responsibility vis-à-vis that commits the violation Morocco as part of its electoral process."
"Such an attitude reflects the persistence of Morocco and his contempt of law and international legality", insisted Mr. Ould Salek charging the Security Council and its mission, MINURSO, the responsibility for "the excess hazardous proves once again the absence of any commitment of Morocco to achieve a political solution to the Saharawi cause. "
In this context, the Saharawi Minister said the Moroccan postions and practices against the Saharawi people "do not change the nature of the conflict nor the problem," saying that "voters in the occupied territories are not Moroccan and Sahrawi" .
"The Sahrawi refuse any participation in the elections whose results will remain zero as the UN and the international community does not recognize sovereignty of Morocco over Western Sahara," he added.
Component in natural resources, Ould Salek said that "several countries and European parliamentarians have filed cases with the European Union (EU) to express their rejection of the continued exploitation and plunder of the wealth of the Saharawi people" . KL War Crimes Tribunal: Bush-Blair Guilty!

Kuala Lumpur International War Crimes Tribunal Hearing Issues Verdict: Former Prime Minister Blair and Former President Bush Guilty of War Crimes
KUALA LUMPUR, 22 November 2011 - The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal (Tribunal) entered its fourth and final day of hearing war crimes charge of Crimes against Peace against George W Bush (former U.S. President) and Anthony L Blair (former British Prime Minister) in Kuala Lumpur. For the first time a war crime charge has been heard against these two former heads of state in compliance with due legal process, wherein complaints from war victims had been received, duly investigated and formal charges instituted by the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission (Commission).
The Tribunal had decided the previous day that a prima facie case had been made out against both the accused. The Defence team presented their case and submission defending the accused. Some of the points submitted and argued are stated in the following paragraphs.
The Defence adopted their prior submissions and proceeded to raise additional grounds, relying additionally on the memoirs of the first and second accused. The Defence highlighted that as an amicus curiae, his function is to assist the Tribunal by raising points of law that are in doubt and to organise information or raise awareness of some aspect of the case that the Tribunal otherwise may miss. The Verdict
The Tribunal deliberated over the case and decided unanimously that the first accused George W Bush and second accused Anthony L Blair have been found guilty of the Crimes against Peace.
The second accused at the material time as heads of state launched an invasion on Iraq on 19 March 2003. The charge was duly served in accordance with the Charter of the Commission. The accused did not appear and an amicus curiae was appointed.
The evidence showed that as far back as 15 September 2001 the accused had planned to invade Iraq. Documents showed that this plan was conveyed by the first accused to the second accused. The accused had attempted to seek he UN approval for invasion. On 2 November 2002, UN Security Council Resolution 1441 did not authorise the use of force against Iraq.   Weapons investigators had confirmed that there were no WMD. It was also established that the Iraq had no WMD. Iraq was not posing any threat to any nation at the relevant time that was immediate that would have justified any form of pre-emptive strike.
Humanitarian intervention was not a basis for the invasion. The UN Security Council must authorise any use of force. An individual state cannot replace the UN in deciding the use of force. The 9/11 attack did not show any connection with Iraq but instead the US had used this as a pretext to invade Iraq. Invasion to effect regime change has no legal basis under international law.
The Evidence showed that the drums of wars were being beaten long before the invasion. The accused in their own memoirs have admitted their own intention to invade Iraq regardless of international law. Unlawful use of force threatens the world to return to a state of lawlessness. The acts of the accused were unlawful.
The charge is proven beyond reasonable doubt. The accused are found guilty. The Tribunal orders that the names of the 2 convicted criminals be included in the war register of the KL War Crimes Commission. And the findings of this Tribunal be publicised to all nations who are signatories of the Rome Statue.
Despite all the facts both the accused had nevertheless invaded Iraq. A detailed written judgment will be published at a later date.
The trial was held in an open court from November 19-22, 2011 at the premises of the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War (KLFCW) at 88, Jalan Perdana, Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur International War Crimes Tribunal Hearing Issues Verdict: Former Prime Minister Blair and Former President Bush Guilty of War Crimes. However, justice will never be delivered as the 'court' does not have any powers to 'arrest' these criminals!

Libya: ICC's Outright Lawlessness

France considers limited intervention in Syria

France by the voice of its Minister of Foreign Affairs (Allain Juppe) announced Wednesday, November 23, 2011 she was asked its European partners, the establishment of "humanitarian corridors" in Syria and in order to protect "routes "used by" Syrian civilians' fleeing the forces of the regime of Bashar al Assad.
The announcement comes after the Duck
has revealed in its issue this week that France, the United Kingdom and Turkey was considering a "limited intervention" in Syria
The idea is to create a "buffer zone" and a no-fly zone inside the Syrian territory to allow the opposition to have a space to "breathe" and to organize.
Alain Juppe speaks now of the Syrian National Council as "the legitimate interlocutor"
My personal opinion is that any intervention from Paris, London and Ankara to Syria immediately cause a regional conflict involving Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Turkey and a military escalation leading Russia China, the United States.
NATO can not bend "Syria" using military pressure, as it has enough cards "policies" and "military" allowing it to deeply disturb the regional balance. Any operation, even a limited not resulting overthrow of the regime in Damascus would be considered a "defeat" of the Atlantic Alliance could disrupt this criminal organization and anachronistic.

Eyes in Sky - really scary

Watch Video Here

Though we do not really know who took the videos and where it originates, we have the information that it was taken after the Indonesian earthquake in Padang, Riau. If you look patiently at the video, you will see a pair of eyes that is formed in the clouds overlooking a village in Indonesia. It will really shock and scare you!

However, apparently this video was taken a few years ago in Russia. Hence the source is unknown and the location too but it is a very real video, not a graphic picture.
