US and Israel forcing a done deal on Fatah

In a plot that smells 'Zionism' and American desperation, the US State Secretary office is trying to shaft into the Fatah's throat a plan to undermine Hamas as the legitimate representatives of the Palestinians. In the event Obama is on board the plan, it augurs a very bad state of affairs for Palestine in the near future.

The US played the role of broker for the past months, unsuccessfully though and this has now converged to direct talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis but under the aegis of the US. This will be the biggest opportunity for the American regime to understand how the Zionists work and why the peace process has failed so far.

The September 2 summit in Washington DC will be the start of what is hoped to be a new round of talks. They are not seen as a breakthrough since the two parties involved will not come to any major agreement in Washington. They will only talk and the only difference is that they will talk with the Obama administration guiding them on the agenda of the day. Nothing more, nothing less and it is certain this will not end the bickering that has plagued the peace process since Ariel Sharon, the bedridden former Prime Minister of Israel, took power.

There is no denying that this new process of talks may collapse at any time given that it may never take place altogether. One very important element to note is that the Hamas will be sidelined in the talks, which is a very dangerous situation indeed. The Hamas remains the most powerful group in Gaza which it is ruling independently while it has much clout and influence in the West Bank and in many other pockets of Palestinian camps across the Arabian peninsular.

Brushing aside the Hamas will not bring a solution to the huge Palestinian problem as much as creating a Palestinian state with the Palestinian Authority alone will not resolve anything. As a matter of fact, it will only make the problem bigger for both Israel and the US.

In addition to the expected attendance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Jordan’s King Abdullah will also attend. All four figureheads are not the type of people who can bring peace to the Palestinians as they are the very people responsible for the dire consequences in which most of the Palestinians are today living in. They are the bad guys who has helped in the dividing of the Palestinian territory into Gaza and the West Bank with an illegitimate group calling the shots in the West Bank.

Once again, we can already see that Obama is being led by the nose in conceding to the Israeli demands. It is also clear that the Israelis will not accept any solution that will include the Hamas as part of the political process, much to the future pain of Israel itself.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri called the US invitation misleading and said the new US plan is not acceptable because it does not serve the interests of the Palestinian people.

“Hamas rejects the American call for the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. The Palestinian people will not feel bound by the results of this misleading invitation,” Abu Zuhri told AFP.

The US is actually playing into the hands of the Zionists and the PLA leadership in the West Bank to bring what they think would be an impossible situation on the Hamas. If a peace deal is reached between the Israelis and the PLA, the Hamas will either have to subdue to the peace treaty or continue to fight and the continuation of warfare will be turned against the Hamas at least on the political grounds that it is not in favor of peace. But what peace will it be when the US is concocting a plan that will look more like a 'Kashmir' imbroglio for the Palestinians?

Even if the Fatah of Abbas was to agree with Obama on a peace proposal, the Israelis will find ways and means to delay any signing of this 'deal' and they will sabotage it as long as the Hamas has its way in Gaza. Hence the democratically elected President of the United States will have to trample in the mud for Israel by attempting or supporting the dislocation of Hamas as the 'governing' body in Gaza. That tells a lot about America's shameless meddling against democracy outside the American continent.

In the present context, it is not improbable that the Israelis and the Americans already have a plan that they want to shaft in the throat of the Fatah hoping that it will accept it and it will play along with the Zionist plan to undermine the Hamas with the plan.
